Thought ginger cake would go well with orange flavoured butter cream icing,

However actual cake was too too dry, yet their looking is not that bad. :-) i think?or believe ??

Doing cupcakes is much harder then making a whole cake in somewhat reason, took a lot more time to finish. 

Hope they enjoyed my cakes !!!!

I am wondering how could people be postive at their final result of work. 

For me, it is always quite difficult to not to be sceptical of my outcome though.....

 

Won Waitrose cake decoration competition

4th out of 12??? 

I wouldn't say it was a serious competion, as it was just to market waitrose's facebook page, although it is cheerful! :-)

The prize was a whole day of waitrose cookery school course in London with a top chef, not bad? Apart from no support of acommodation and transport fees :-(

My father in law's birthday cake

I was in a bit of a hurry making it, indubitable all butterfingered me dropped the whole gold sprinkle on the cake :-( 

Yet tasted ok, looked too goldish.
